This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Operate within the designated territory to achieve sales and profit targets for the Laboratory Diagnostics product division.
• Oversee interactions and sales across all levels of customer accounts for the assigned target account (executive leadership, procurement managers, laboratory managers, biochemists, medical laboratory technologists, medical directors, etc.).
• Develop proposals for complex product acquisitions and respond to tenders (including requests for proposals).
• Identify and cultivate business opportunities for healthcare solutions as part of a collaborative cross-functional team.
• Create product and solution presentations for CLS and SLS and deliver them to healthcare leaders.
• Ensure precise recording and upkeep of the customer database and contract information by maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to formulate and revise account plans for key opportunities, along with regional sales and sales funnel forecasts.
• Maintain an extensive level of product knowledge, technical expertise, awareness of competitors and the healthcare market, while fostering a high degree of personal effectiveness.
• Work in partnership with various Siemens Healthineers teams, including applications specialists, field service, corporate management, project management, healthcare solutions, finance, and legal.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree specializing in health sciences, medical laboratory technology, or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in both French and English (bilingual).
• Five years of proven technical sales experience in diagnostics or a related area involving medical instruments or healthcare.
• Demonstrated ability to expand market share in a competitive environment.
• Client- and results-driven motivation and attitude.
• Exceptional negotiation and risk management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.
• Familiarity with hospitals and testing procedures.
• Experience in laboratory diagnostics is preferred.
• Outstanding presentation skills, including the capacity to convey technical topics effectively.
