Account Manager, Laboratory Automation

📋 Description

• Overseeing the creation and execution of the account plan and growth initiatives outlined in the Statement of Work.

• Grasping the primary business drivers, including notable and emerging risks such as sustainability, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, related to the global customer's operations and environment, and converting them into corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.

• Contributing to the formulation of sales strategies for the accounts by offering insights on the current business landscape and long-term objectives for the customer.

• Establishing sales targets, providing insights on market pricing trends, monitoring competitors' activities with the account, and ensuring that suitable response strategies are put into action.

• Overseeing administrative processes in sales activities and assisting with collection and project management tasks as necessary.

• Coordinating with the bid and proposal department to prepare offers.

• Ensuring that offers meet the relevant technical and financial criteria, including pricing and trading conditions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory processes and/or sales of laboratory equipment is required.

• Previous experience in laboratory automation and robotics is highly desirable.

• Experience in Account Management is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• An outgoing, goal-driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Applicants must have authorization to work permanently in the United States.
