This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as a reliable infection prevention consultant and main point of contact for essential hospital stakeholders.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key clinical and economic partners.
• Achieve sustainable business growth by meeting sales targets through effective account and territory management.
• Utilize data and analytics to guide business planning processes.
• Identify and address customer financial and clinical priorities and constraints.
• Utilize hospital networks and various contacts to uncover opportunities for expansion and conversion.
• Influence key stakeholders at accounts to advocate for recommended solutions and products.
• Enhance the mix of new product introductions (NPIs).
• Collaborate with channel, distribution, and kitting partners to maintain relationships and ensure alignment.
• Provide new and ongoing in-servicing, education, technical support, and troubleshooting for product-related issues.
• Use publications and industry guidelines to promote product adoption and standardization.
• Drive contract compliance and seek standardization opportunities.
• Advise clinicians on the safe and effective use of products.
• Display proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program.
• Utilize company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
• Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a minimum of 4 years in sales, clinical, or related fields, OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 8 years of sales, clinical, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Hold current certification(s): BSN, RN, VA-BC, CRNI.
• Demonstrated success in meeting quotas and targets.
• Previous experience in healthcare sales or clinical roles.
• Proven skills in territory management and business planning.
• Established expertise in building strong customer relationships with key influencers.
• Strong comprehension of clinical value drivers across various care areas.
• Familiarity with cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis domains.
• Customer-focused approach to selling and closing deals.
• Experience in navigating complex sales cycles.
• Completion of a formal sales training program is required.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Familiarity with new product introductions and the value analysis process.
• Collaboration experience with distribution channel partners.
• Exceptional data analysis and analytical skills.
