
Account Manager – Industrial Lubricants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and enhance our operations within the industrial lubricants sector, with a particular emphasis on our flagship anderol® product line.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with existing distributors while seeking to identify and onboard new partners.
• Generate new sales opportunities and promote revenue growth across the finished fluids range.
• Collaborate with OEMs on first-fill and aftermarket initiatives.
• Enhance Lanxess’s market visibility through targeted technical and commercial strategies.
• Formulate and implement both short- and long-term sales plans for the finished fluids division.
• Provide product guidance through phone calls, virtual meetings, site visits, and trade exhibitions.
• Conduct continuous market research to uncover industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
• Represent Lanxess at trade fairs, conferences, and industry gatherings.
• Over 10 years of relevant sales experience, encompassing distributor management and key account management, with direct experience in the lubricants industry.
• Familiarity with lubricant additives is advantageous.
• A degree in chemical, technical, engineering, or business administration is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to earn respect and credibility from customers.
• Strong project management skills and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to navigate complexity.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Fluent in both English and German.
