📋 Description

• Opportunity Management: Proactively drive new business, cross-selling/up-selling, and renewal opportunities by engaging multiple decision-makers to ensure effective communication and consensus throughout the opportunity's lifecycle. Utilize both internal and external networks to enhance opportunity value and expand the assigned book of business to surpass revenue targets.

• Consultative Selling Approach: Comprehend and deliver solutions that align with customers’ specific challenges and strategic goals. Collaborate with the account team and both internal and external partners to create successful solutions that provide value for both the customer and Renaissance.

• Business Closing: Grasp and market solutions tailored to the unique issues and strategic objectives of customers. Guide the account team and partners to develop effective solutions that benefit both the customer and Renaissance.

• K-12 Educational Insight: Possess extensive knowledge of the K-12 education landscape, including public, private, and parochial institutions. Understand K-12 districts and school administrative roles, funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight. Familiar with customer workflows, contacts, and their integration into decision-making processes.

• Industry Expertise: Hold strong technical knowledge of common tools and trends in the ed-tech sector; stay updated on potential future policies, practices, and information impacting customer businesses. Understand the competition and how strategies and tactics operate within the marketplace.

• Trustworthiness: Establish rapport through factual accuracy, expertise in various offerings, meeting expectations, and proactively providing market insights that encourage customers to view Renaissance as a partner.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of prior sales experience.

• Proficient in collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

• Familiar with CRM systems and other sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).

• Knowledge of educational customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

• Bonus Points: Experience in education sales.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and solve problems creatively.
