This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee territory to foster effective relationships with physicians, hospitals, lab contacts, retail representatives, and other ancillary medical professionals within the designated area.
• Utilize available resources to address customer needs and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team of suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the strategic approach for the territory; formulate sales strategies to achieve objectives and grow the business within the assigned area; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Conduct sales calls and manage vendor relations with all customers and potential clients within the territory.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends, and keep updated on new products/services and other relevant information for customers, integrating this data into the business plan; introduce new products and services as necessary.
• Lead pricing strategies within the territory to maintain profitability.
• Ensure accurate reporting, records, and files are kept for effective management of the territory.
• Always represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively at all customer locations.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a scientific field.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required, preferably in medical sales, laboratory, science, or healthcare industries, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong negotiation abilities and customer relationship management skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet usage is mandatory.
• Must have organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines as necessary.
• A solid background in the industry, healthcare, and science is preferred.
• Must be willing and able to travel to customer locations.
• Must successfully complete required vendor credentialing for access to hospitals/labs.
