• Opportunity Management: Proactively drive new business, cross/up-sell, and renewal opportunities by engaging multiple decision-makers to ensure effective communication and consensus throughout the opportunity lifecycle, leveraging internal and external networks to enhance opportunity value. Expand the assigned book of business to surpass revenue objectives.
• Consultative Solution Selling: Comprehend and present solutions that align with customers’ specific challenges and strategic goals. Collaborate with the account team, internal resources, and external partners to create effective solutions that provide value to both the customer and Renaissance.
• Business Closing: Grasp and promote solutions that correspond to customers’ unique challenges and strategic objectives. Coordinate with the account team, internal staff, and external collaborators to devise effective solutions that deliver value for both the customer and Renaissance.
• K-12 Education Insight: Maintain extensive knowledge of the K-12 education sector, encompassing public, private, and parochial schools. Understand K-12 districts and school administrative roles, including funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight. Familiarity with customer workflows, contacts, and their integration into decision-making processes.
• Domain Knowledge: Exhibit strong technical understanding of common tools and trends in the ed tech sector; remain informed about potential future policies, practices, and information impacting customer businesses. Recognize competition and how strategies and tactics operate within the marketplace.
• Credibility: Establish rapport through factual accuracy, expertise across offerings, meeting expectations, and proactively sharing market insights that encourage customers to view Renaissance as a trusted partner.
• Minimum of 4 years of prior sales experience.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Familiarity with CRMs and other sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
• Understanding of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
