This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Opportunity Management: Proactively drive new business, cross-sell, up-sell, and renewal opportunities by engaging various decision makers to ensure effective communication and consensus throughout the opportunity’s lifecycle, leveraging both internal and external networks to enhance opportunity value.
• Consultative Solution Selling: Recognize and offer solutions tailored to the unique challenges and strategic goals of customers. Collaborate with the account team and both internal and external partners to craft successful solutions that deliver value for both the customer and Renaissance.
• Business Closing: Comprehend and present solutions that align with customers' specific challenges and strategic aims. Lead collaborative efforts with the account team and partners to formulate winning solutions that benefit both the customer and Renaissance.
• K-12 Education Expertise: Exhibit extensive knowledge of the K-12 education sector, encompassing public, private, and parochial schools. Have a robust understanding of K-12 districts, school administrative roles, funding mechanisms, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board governance. Be well-acquainted with customer workflows, contacts, and their integration into decision-making processes.
• Domain Knowledge: Maintain strong technical understanding of prevalent tools and trends in the ed-tech landscape; stay informed on potential future policies, practices, and information impacting customer operations. Understand the competitive landscape and the effectiveness of various strategies and tactics within the marketplace.
• Credibility: Establish rapport through factual accuracy, expertise across offerings, meeting expectations, and proactively sharing market insights that encourage customers to view Renaissance as a trusted partner.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales experience.
• Proficient in using collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Familiar with CRMs and sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
• Knowledgeable about education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
