Account Manager I – Black Credit Card

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• The 60-Day Collector is essential in assisting Westlake Financial in minimizing delinquencies and safeguarding our portfolio.

• You will engage with customers whose accounts are between 31 and 60 days overdue, utilizing communication, problem-solving skills, and persistence to identify viable solutions and avert loan losses.

• Negotiate with customers to create payment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Achieve and surpass daily and monthly objectives while upholding quality and compliance standards.

• Conduct outbound calls that result in successful payments or prompt arrangements to settle delinquencies.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the department.

• Handle a high volume of calls effectively and professionally in a dynamic environment.

• Employ skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when necessary.

• Help decrease delinquency in your assigned queue and support department-wide objectives.

• Adhere to company policies and quality standards to ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM, with strong computer and data-entry skills.

• Previous experience in credit card collections or a related financial services position is preferred.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, along with professional phone etiquette.

• Flexible availability – ready to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

• Capable of multitasking and maintaining organization in a fast-paced setting.

• Knowledge of collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable using web-based applications.

• Team-oriented with a positive and reliable attitude.

• At least 2 years of experience in a collections environment is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
