Account Manager I – Black Credit Card

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• The 60-Day Collector is essential in assisting Westlake Financial in minimizing delinquencies and safeguarding our portfolio.

• You will engage with customers whose accounts are 31–60 days overdue, utilizing communication, problem-solving, and persistence to discover viable solutions and avert loan losses.

• Negotiate with customers to establish payment plans that accommodate their unique situations.

• Achieve and surpass daily and monthly targets while upholding quality and compliance standards.

• Conduct outbound calls that result in successful payments or timely arrangements to address delinquencies.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the department.

• Handle a high volume of calls effectively and professionally in a dynamic environment.

• Utilize skip-tracing tools to find customers or collateral when necessary.

• Lower delinquency rates within your assigned queue and contribute to department-wide objectives.

• Adhere to company policies and quality standards to ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Type at a minimum of 35 WPM with strong computer and data-entry capabilities.

• Some background in credit card collections or a similar financial services position is preferred.

• Superior communication and negotiation skills with professional phone etiquette.

• Flexible availability – willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

• Capable of multitasking and maintaining organization in a fast-paced setting.

• Knowledge of collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable navigating online applications.

• Team-oriented with a positive and reliable demeanor.

• 2+ years of experience in a collections environment is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
