This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for managing existing business and fostering profitable revenue growth in Healthcare Applications for Color & Additives Solutions (Mevopur™) across Europe.
• A key focus will be on identifying potential target customers and facilitating collaboration across regions and business units for global customers and specifiers in Healthcare Applications.
• May hold responsibility for overseeing strategic relationships, driving business expansion, and managing contract negotiations for Global Key Accounts within the Healthcare sector.
• Possess an understanding of key stakeholders along the value chain, including applications, requirements, trends, and needs, as well as Avient’s capabilities in Healthcare Applications.
• Have a thorough comprehension of our healthcare customers' needs, providing essential documentation and risk mitigation plans as a vital aspect of our value proposition in the Healthcare Segment.
• Capable of selling at various management levels and establishing relationships that ensure Avient remains a priority for both initial and final considerations.
• Approach the sales process with professionalism and efficiency by effectively utilizing customer-centric selling skills and tools, conducting prospecting and new account outreach, developing a strong sales funnel, minimizing bad debts, promoting cross-selling, and managing projects effectively through our CRM system.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the European Healthcare Sales teams, the Regulatory Team, and the technical area as needed to accelerate and promote profitable growth through solutions and service selling to targeted accounts.
• Keep track of competitors to gain insights into challenges and threats, and devise strategies to overcome obstacles.
• Execute Avient’s pricing and market strategies alongside business practices. Negotiate customer contracts and value packages to ensure an acceptable return on Avient's invested resources.
• Engage in strategy formulation, assist in positioning the business, and contribute to the development of offerings. Help define target markets and the commercial strategy.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Polymer sciences, or a degree related to Marketing/Business.
• Proven experience in sales and/or marketing, along with technical/R&D experience in a comparable industry, particularly within the Healthcare sector.
• Ability to cultivate qualitative long-term relationships and successfully close deals. Strong skills in negotiation and influencing.
• Solid business acumen to identify opportunities, create innovative sales programs, and showcase competitive advantages.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in English and German is essential.
• Opportunity to work from home.
