This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Develop and enhance the pipeline for Flexible Automation solutions for both new and existing clients.
• Navigate intricate customer sales processes from initial discovery through to business case formulation, solution alignment, commercial negotiations, and closing deals.
• Present Dematic’s Flexible Automation offerings, which encompass AMRs, AGVs, robotic cells, pallet shuttle solutions, AutoStore-style solutions, and software-driven automation.
• Assist clients in comprehending commercial models that encompass recurring software, services, or automation-as-a-service benefits.
• Create ROI-focused proposals linked to labor efficiency, throughput, storage capacity, scalability, uptime, and operational adaptability.
• Collaborate closely with regional account teams, software leaders, solution design, engineering, and implementation teams to refine solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of flexible technologies with Dematic’s conventional fixed automation systems and advance sales opportunities.
• Engage with operations, supply chain, logistics, IT, finance, and executive stakeholders within client organizations.
• Identify opportunities that initiate with Flexible Automation and extend into the wider Dematic portfolio when relevant.
• Over 5 years of proven success in enterprise B2B sales, strategic account management, or business development.
• Experience in selling one or more of the following: warehouse automation, AMRs, AGVs, robotics, goods-to-person systems, WMS, WES, TMS, warehouse orchestration software, supply chain execution software, or related industrial technologies.
• Comfort in consultative and value-driven selling within multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in building business cases and conveying ROI to both operational and financial decision-makers.
• Capability to manage both direct selling and collaborative team-selling approaches.
• Strong executive presence, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and account planning skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations and industry events.
• Experience in AMR and robotics OEM sales.
• Background in warehouse automation and intralogistics sales.
• Expertise in supply chain software sales.
• SaaS sales experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with WMS, WES, OMS, TMS, or warehouse execution/orchestration sales.
• Experience in partner/channel sales within automation ecosystems.
• Knowledge of subscription, recurring revenue, or hybrid commercial models involving equipment, services, or software.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and distribution-center workflows.
• Experience selling to accounts with complex buying committees and extended sales cycles.
• Previous exposure to AMR fleet software, warehouse orchestration, or automation control/software integration.
