This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.
• Sell plastic resins to film converters and provide support for existing accounts.
• Broaden the customer base by driving profitable revenue growth and pursuing new business initiatives.
• Meet gross margin targets relative to sales.
• Conduct prospecting efforts and new account outreach, developing a strong target pipeline.
• Set, monitor, and achieve new business targets that align with long-term growth strategies.
• Create, implement, and oversee sales plans, budgets, and expense forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with channel partners to finalize sales in accordance with customer purchasing needs.
• Generate and maintain CRM records and sales analytics.
• Work together with Technical and Customer Service teams to fulfill customer requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Engage effectively with customers and their various functional teams.
• Travel using various modes of transportation as needed.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B, face-to-face sales, ideally within industrial or commodity sectors.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience selling film resins in the region.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Experience selling resin to film converters in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canadian regions.
• Advanced analytical skills to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of solutions, materials, and processing techniques.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining self-motivation.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledgeable about identifying opportunities across the entire product line.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs on a weekly basis.
• Willingness to travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means of transportation.
