• Create, execute, and oversee the account strategy aimed at enhancing share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Organize sales initiatives, track ongoing projects, and handle the resolution of specific customer issues.
• Offer insights on market price trends and developments.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of the account plan along with growth actions outlined in the Statement of Work.
• Grasp the key business drivers, including critical and emerging risks associated with the global customer’s business, and translate them into relevant impacts and opportunities for ABB.
• Engage in formulating sales strategies for the account by providing both current business insights and long-term plans for the customer.
• Set sales objectives, observe competitors’ activities with the account, and ensure that suitable response strategies are executed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business is strongly preferred, along with 10 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and/or Marketing.
• Candidates lacking a degree but possessing equivalent experience will also be taken into consideration.
• Established relationships with major U.S. power & energy EPC firms (e.g., Burns & McDonnell, Kiewit, Black & Veatch, Dashiell, EPD Renewables, Engie, Quanta...) are strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the U.S. utility regulatory landscape, interconnection processes, and grid modernization efforts is essential.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills are required; strong analytical abilities and leadership skills are crucial.
• Willingness to travel frequently as needed - at least 50% across the U.S.
• Candidates must already possess work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the United States.
• Option to select between two medical plans: a PPO plan known as the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) referred to as the High Deductible Plan.
