Account Manager, Employee Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Delivering an exceptional client experience for both existing and prospective accounts.

• Swiftly addressing client inquiries, requests, and policy modifications.

• Recording all client interactions and communications within agency management tools and software systems.

• Overseeing daily client engagement by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, HR managers, and other support staff.

• Managing service, billing, claims, and enrollment matters with clients.

• Addressing carrier or administrative challenges as part of a client service team for client accounts.

• Investigating and resolving client issues promptly.

• Organizing, prioritizing, and fulfilling daily workloads efficiently.

• Participating in internal renewal meetings.

• Coordinating the implementation of new coverage lines and carrier transitions alongside the Client Manager.

• Creating employee communication materials, including Benefit Guides, brochures, flyers, and payroll inserts.

• Reviewing booklets and contracts for accuracy and rectifying any discrepancies.

• Requesting Schedule A's for clients' IRS Form 5500 submissions and ensuring signature-ready Form 5500s are facilitated.

• Guiding clients on where to access necessary notices.

• Ensuring data accuracy within the agency management system.

• Collaborating with the Service Support Specialist to assist HR managers and support staff in utilizing Gibson tools.

• Notifying Client Managers of any escalated service concerns.

• Managing ResourcePro utilization effectively.

• Serving as a backup for team members when necessary.

• Safeguarding confidential information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position within the insurance, risk management, or financial services sector.

• Life & Health license (or the capability to secure the license within 3 months of starting employment).
