This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver service to a designated group of clients.
• Address moderately complex customer service issues directly.
• Serve as a dedicated resource for assigned accounts, engaging with clients directly (not via a call center).
• Cultivate relationships with employer/group clients (as opposed to individual members) and act as the primary contact for overall service delivery and daily operations.
• Advocate for the client internally and collaborate with other departments to implement client systems, complete projects, and meet ongoing service requirements.
• Elevate client concerns when necessary.
• Support client services management in facilitating client meetings as required.
• Enter data into relevant software for vendors, carriers, and clients within the stipulated timeframe.
• Manage employee communications related to enrollment.
• Engage in new client onboarding, renewals, and open enrollment meetings.
• Establish and maintain a strong business relationship with clients and vendors.
• Discuss applicable legislation and market trends with clients.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and procedures.
• Stimulate client interest in additional coverage options.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
• May offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced client service personnel.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 3 to 5 years of customer service experience in the insurance sector is required.
• Must hold current licenses and certifications pertinent to the area of expertise.
• Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Possesses effective customer service abilities.
• Proficient in the use of relevant technology.
• Capable of working both collaboratively in a team setting and independently.
• Must be willing to travel based on client and business requirements.
