Account Manager, Designer Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Meet and exceed designated sales and profitability objectives within your assigned territory.

• Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with designers, decorators, retailers, and builders.

• Create and implement a strategic plan aimed at driving sales growth and enhancing customer loyalty.

• Serve as a true brand ambassador by providing outstanding service and showcasing the quality of the York Wallcoverings collection.

• Collaborate with Customer Service and internal teams to consistently enhance the customer experience.

• Leverage reporting tools and insights to uncover opportunities and drive performance.

• Present engaging product demonstrations to clients and their customers.

• Identify and pursue new designers and accounts, enrolling them in the suitable product book plans.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and deliver value.

• Provide feedback on market trends, product opportunities, and gaps to support innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in outside sales, account management, or business development, preferably within design, home décor, or building materials.

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; capable of connecting with a diverse array of clients.

• Highly organized with the capability to manage various accounts and priorities effectively.

• A strong passion for design coupled with a customer-centric approach.

• Residing in the Chicago area and willing to travel throughout the designated territory, including Chicago - IL, WI, KS, and MO.

• Self-motivated individual who excels in a remote, performance-oriented environment.
