This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Drive sales initiatives for Critical Power UPS/STS products by engaging in prospecting and customer visits.
• Proactively reach out to potential clients and conduct market analysis by collecting customer insights to generate leads, establish a robust pipeline, and secure new contracts.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with customers on both operational and strategic fronts.
• Offer expert guidance on technical solutions and effectively convert customer requirements into SOCOMEC offerings.
• Develop and oversee an opportunity funnel (quotation portfolio).
• Maintain and enhance the customer database within targeted market sectors.
• Lead contract negotiations, involving management when necessary.
• Ensure effective collaboration to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction in your designated region.
• Monitor competitors' pricing strategies, technological advancements, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the local team in Houten and international teams in France and Italy.
• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar roles in selling engineered power and electrical solutions.
• Experience in technical sales and project-based selling within the electrical industry, including UPS Systems, power quality, power distribution, battery management systems, power inverters, energy storage, static transfer systems (STS), SNMP, transformers, generators, switchgear, or related fields.
• Familiarity with the data centre industry and the UPS Systems market is an advantage.
• UPS Engineers or technical electrical engineers in the critical power sector seeking to transition into sales are encouraged to apply.
• A technical qualification or degree in electrical engineering is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands to develop new business sales for Critical Power, UPS/STS products through prospecting and customer visits.
• Fluency in Dutch is essential.
