This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Build strong business relationships at the executive level within organizations of up to 2,500 users.
• Concentrate on prospecting to introduce clients to the complete range of our security, compliance, and information protection platform.
• Clearly express and promote the company’s value proposition and services to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Work in conjunction with Sales Engineers to organize and present engaging and seamless product demonstrations.
• Utilize all internal resources, including aligned System Engineers, to develop proactive account strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team, contributing to Customer Business Reviews.
• Engage with the channel ecosystem to obtain access to new accounts.
• Ensure operational excellence, including accurate forecasting and progression of pipeline generation.
• Keep informed about Proofpoint’s competitive standing in the market.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding targets.
• Experienced technology sales professional, preferably with a background in selling SaaS solutions to the SME and Mid Enterprise markets in the Benelux region.
• A growth-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and a tenacious attitude, coupled with a high level of activity.
• Capability to build business relationships at the executive level.
• Experience in closing complex deals valued at $100k or more.
• Proven ability to create a new business pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Proficient in coordinating multiple resources to implement complex sales strategies.
• Ideally familiar with a formal sales playbook methodology (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Command of the Message).
• Preferably experienced in using Salesforce (or a similar CRM tool).
• Fluent in Dutch is required, with excellent proficiency in English being essential. Additional languages are a plus.
