Account Manager – Commercial Marine Brokerage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Market, quote, and secure marine insurance accounts under the supervision of senior brokers.

• Prepare submissions, collect underwriting details, and compile comprehensive account files for outreach to carrier and wholesale partners.

• Build and sustain daily interactions with retail agents, wholesale partners, and carrier underwriters.

• Assist in generating new business and maintaining accounts through prompt follow-up and proactive renewal preparations.

• Accurately process binders, endorsements, certificates, and other policy documentation.

• Keep organized account records and ensure adherence to brokerage workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid P&C insurance license.

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial insurance client servicing, including familiarity with marine policies.

• AIMU, CIC, or CPCU designations are preferred.

• Willingness and motivation to pursue professional development through industry-related or external courses to achieve a professional designation.
