• Oversee a portfolio of COA licensing and solutions accounts, managing the entire deal cycle from initial inquiry through to scoping, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
• Handle per-study license agreements, multi-territory arrangements, and solution bundles.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships within pharmaceutical, CRO, and academic sponsor accounts, identifying opportunities for growth through additional instruments, languages, or service enhancements.
• Collaborate with our strategic delivery partner on deals initiated through the co-sell channel, ensuring that the Wiley commercial position is effectively managed and that service delivery is smooth.
• Keep precise pipeline and deal data in Salesforce, providing regular updates on deal activity, pricing trends, and customer insights.
• Partner with the broader COA Solutions commercial team to meet revenue goals.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in licensing, sales, or account management, preferably in publishing, life sciences, or intellectual property-related sectors.
• Proven track record in managing a deal pipeline and achieving revenue objectives.
• Excellent customer relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to scope, price, and negotiate licensing agreements effectively.
• Detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple deals at once.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
• Experience in pharmaceutical licensing, clinical trial services, or copyright and intellectual property management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) instruments and their significance in clinical trials is preferred.
• Understanding of multi-territory licensing arrangements is preferred.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and CRO landscape is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
