This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive sales growth in the designated territory and identify new business opportunities that surpass targets.
• Implement account management strategies, utilize consultative selling techniques, and apply clinical knowledge to boost business while strengthening support for our biopharma offerings and enhancing our reputation with clients.
• Oversee the contracting strategy/process and ensure effective execution with key customers and accounts (e.g., Hospitals, IDNs, and Clinics/Practices).
• Enhance access to key decision-makers by cultivating opportunities within the customer/account base in the assigned region.
• Introduce new products and programs to the market.
• Possess exceptional collaborative and communication abilities to successfully engage with customers and relevant internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and market access).
• Promote Fresenius Kabi's credibility as a partner to enhance patient care for providers by utilizing approved resources (e.g., patient support programs).
• Leverage business insight, product expertise, and sales skills to identify and fulfill customer requirements.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to maximize sales prospects and deliver impactful customer presentations.
• A solid understanding of clinical, product, reimbursement, and financial aspects will be essential.
• Comprehend current local market conditions and the key challenges clients encounter daily.
• Demonstrate leadership, trust behaviors, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Apply effective organization, planning, and time management skills to ensure optimal coverage of the territory/account.
• Conduct oneself with integrity, adhering to compliance, internal policies, and the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required (preferably in Business or Science).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of outstanding results.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrated success, and relationships within the Biopharma and/or Immunology (Rheumatology, GI, or Derm) or Oncology sectors preferred.
• Experience with medical benefit buy & bill processes and an understanding of contracting procedures is preferred.
• Experience engaging with Oncology and/or Immunology Physician Offices, Hospitals, IDNs, and Academic Centers up to the C-Suite Level is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of access and reimbursement, including specialty pharmacy providers, IDN and GPO contracting, and strong executional pull-through of payer access is required.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement a call plan that meets established metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to enhance access and sales opportunities.
• Effective experience collaborating with a Matrix Team comprising National Accounts, FRMs, Marketing, etc.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must possess the capability and willingness to travel as necessary (by auto and air).
