This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement sales strategies to optimize performance within the designated region.
• Achieve overall sales goals and targets for key growth products.
• Introduce new products and service offerings to the market.
• Generate leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution selling while building relevant technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise.
• Cultivate relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel, ensuring account relevance and access.
• Engage with customers in line with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and execute territory business plans and allocate resources effectively.
• Utilize Zoetis resources and follow up to enhance ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations, including sales calls and medical education initiatives.
• Develop and implement account- and veterinarian-level call cycles.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative, communication, and teamwork standards.
• Oversee assigned expense budgets.
• Travel and work some evenings as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3–10 years of proven, successful consultative sales experience.
• Experience in creatively identifying opportunities or resolving problems to enhance sales performance.
• Ability to leverage analytics and insights for informed decision-making and tactical execution.
• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets.
• Highly focused and results-driven, with the ability to identify goals and priorities and address issues proactively.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close team environment.
• Knowledge and experience in Animal Health and small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to accept and integrate feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful and fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn Zoetis systems.
• Availability and readiness to travel and work some evenings as needed.
• Candidates should reside within the territory.
