This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Employ solution selling techniques, territory management, and strategic business planning to enhance sales performance within the designated area.
• Achieve overall sales goals and key growth-product targets through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and services while generating leads for equipment sales.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills and cultivate relevant technical knowledge along with an understanding of veterinary practices.
• Establish and nurture relationships with specific hospitals and key personnel.
• Adhere to Zoetis promotional guidelines during customer interactions.
• Formulate and implement territory business plans and allocate resources accordingly.
• Fulfill field activity requirements, including sales calls and medical educational initiatives.
• Create and execute call cycles at both the account and veterinarian levels.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while upholding expectations for integrity, compliance, communication, administration, and teamwork.
• Oversee assigned expense budgets and leverage analytics and insights to inform decision-making and tactical execution.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3–10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience in creatively identifying opportunities or resolving challenges to enhance sales performance.
• A change-agent mindset with a dedication to continuous learning.
• Proficient in utilizing analytics and insights to refine decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to manage designated expense budgets effectively.
• Highly focused on results, with the ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and address issues proactively.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team; self-motivated.
• Familiarity with animal health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to accepting and integrating feedback.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make fair, informed decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as necessary.
• Candidates must reside within the New Haven, CT area.
• Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US; sponsorship requirements must be communicated.
