This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual gross profit objectives in collaboration with the Director of Account Management.
• Facilitate regular in-person or virtual meetings with clients to assess performance, discuss waste diversion initiatives, and establish new targets.
• Create strategic plans that are in line with client requirements and goals.
• Analyze sensor reports and propose system optimization strategies, including recommendations for new equipment, service modifications, or vendor changes.
• Track customer engagement and recommend service enhancements based on client necessities, seasonal adjustments, or business transformations.
• Deliver signage, training, and additional resources to minimize contamination and achieve waste diversion targets.
• Serve as a key escalation point for service-related issues and operational inquiries.
• Oversee and grow the client portfolio while implementing partnership strategies that promote business expansion.
• Function as a trusted advisor and primary contact, offering personalized service, proactive assistance, and innovative solutions.
• Support other account management responsibilities as needed.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with French is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship management and customer retention.
• Robust negotiation abilities and a strategic approach.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible and open to change.
• Over 3 years of experience in a B2B client partnership/account management role within an industrial service sector.
• Experience in the waste and recycling industry is a plus but not required.
• Proven success in client retention and developing long-term business relationships.
• Knowledge of account management procedures, customer retention tactics, and best practices for nurturing B2B relationships.
• Understanding of effective negotiation strategies and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience in B2B sales and account management.
• Availability to work from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Capability to work remotely from Quebec.
