This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Account Manager is tasked with selling Software, Hardware, and Services.
• Ensure all established sales targets are achieved or surpassed within the designated region or vertical market.
• Drive sales through direct engagement with the existing client base, executing sales campaigns, and networking with industry colleagues and contacts.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s product offerings and stay informed about competitor products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and provide feedback to Product Management and Marketing.
• Manage and enhance the Company’s CRM database in line with company standards while developing accurate, high-quality sales documentation and correspondence templates.
• Assist in creating and executing lead generation activities as needed.
• Qualify, develop, and oversee leads until they convert into sales.
• Promptly respond to and follow up on all sales inquiries using suitable methods.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline of adequate size and appropriate stage in the buying cycle to meet agreed sales targets.
• Ensure all monthly sales targets (KPIs) set by management and agreed upon in advance are achieved or exceeded.
• Fulfill reporting obligations according to departmental deadlines.
• Identify potential customer needs and align solutions to address these needs.
• Present the Company’s solutions accurately without misrepresentation.
• Demonstrate software solutions and related products either in person or online.
• Address objections and mitigate risks associated with potential sales opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver quotations/proposals for sales opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalize sales agreements.
• Maximize profitability on all prospective sales opportunities.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships, alliances, and networks within the industry (or other vertical markets) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads.
• Maintain daily communication with the team; regularly participate in company meetings, conferences, seminars, and trade shows as required.
• Attend product briefings on new and existing modules to keep product knowledge current.
• Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sale, and delivery of the products, or related third-party products, as directed by the management team as necessary.
• Extensive experience in selling software solutions, preferably within the payments sector.
• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in new business sales.
• Relevant professional sales training and methodology.
• Strong negotiation abilities and a proven capacity to close sales.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to build and nurture business relationships.
• Good understanding of technology and its application in business.
• A moderate to high level of computer literacy and technical competency.
• Demonstrable experience in organizing customer accounts and project implementation.
• A desire to resolve customer issues.
• An ability to maintain focus and manage setbacks effectively.
