This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Build and nurture robust, long-term relationships with key clients, serving as their main point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Recognize and leverage opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to enhance account value and stimulate revenue growth.
• Conduct regular strategic reviews of accounts and formulate comprehensive plans tailored to the distinct needs and objectives of each client.
• Track and evaluate account performance metrics, KPIs, and trends to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Negotiate contracts with professionalism and transparency, while addressing disputes or issues with empathy and assertiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to offer clients valuable, actionable insights.
• Meet and surpass sales goals and key performance indicators through dedicated effort and strategic account management.
• Maintain accurate and current client and account data in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver regular account reports and performance summaries to stakeholders and management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in account management, sales, or a comparable client-facing position.
• A proven history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets and client retention objectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining relationships at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in CRM software (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) and project management tools.
• An analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data, produce actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented work ethic, combined with strong time management capabilities.
• Ability to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in account management and customer relationship management.
• Experience in the New York market or an understanding of the regional business landscape (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in multiple CRM platforms or business intelligence tools (preferred).
• Experience with strategic account planning and consultative selling techniques (preferred).
• Certification in account management, sales, or related professional development programs (preferred).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
