This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Take ownership of the renewal process for a customer portfolio to ensure prompt renewals and reduce churn rates.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aimed at enhancing customer retention, expansion, and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Conduct Executive Partnership Reviews to showcase ROI, ensure alignment with customer objectives, and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Create tailored renewal proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases that reflect the unique needs and priorities of customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Learning teams to formulate and execute Customer Success Plans (CSPs).
• Proactively identify customer risks and work across teams to develop and implement retention strategies.
• Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives by identifying unmet customer needs and aligning solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Navigate intricate, multi-stakeholder customer environments and manage relationships at the executive level.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and customer activity tracking within Salesforce.
• Provide timely and accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executive, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations teams to guarantee a seamless customer experience.
• Continuously enhance renewal and expansion processes to boost operational efficiency and consistency.
• 3–5 years of experience in renewals or account management within the SaaS, EdTech, or a comparable software industry.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing renewal, retention, and upsell goals.
• Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Experience working with executive and C-level stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects under tight deadlines in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 60% of the time.
