📋 Description

• Uncover meaningful opportunities that contribute positively on a global level.

• Promote and provide support for all CMD products.

• Foster effective and enduring customer relationships.

• Identify avenues for strategic growth within the account.

• Lead all CMD commercial initiatives associated with the account.

• Recognize and prioritize new client opportunities.

• Enhance share of wallet within current accounts.

• Nurture account relationships to facilitate expansion and renewals.

• Offer product support, consultation, and solutions to problems.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize orders.

• Utilize data and metrics to formulate and report on account development strategies.

• Adapt to the needs of customers effectively.

• Create sales strategies to meet objectives and grow the business.

• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to surpass sales targets.

• Attend and lead technical business presentations and customer events.

• Share account information and sales leads across divisions.

• Analyze sales data, market trends, customer behavior, and financial metrics.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in analytical instrument markets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other applied sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong understanding of the market and a well-established professional network.

• Experience in conducting on-site customer seminars and delivering technical presentations.

• A commercial mindset, driven by the desire to secure new business.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Valid full UK driving license.

• Proven track record of commercial excellence in a matrix environment.

• Competent in MS Office and CRM software.

• Ability to communicate and sell the technical aspects of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s scientific product portfolio.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 80%, including overnight trips.
