This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for selling life sciences research consumables and instruments to the academic sector.
• Build and nurture customer relationships with procurement personnel and scientists for both the short and long term.
• Meet sales targets established on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Pursue existing and new sales opportunities within the territory to achieve or exceed sales goals.
• Concentrate on the strategic development of key accounts by implementing and updating account plans across functions.
• M.A./M.Sc. or equivalent experience is preferred; a bachelor's degree in the biology/life science field is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in sales within the Life Sciences Market.
• Required general knowledge of the assigned product portfolio and customer segment.
• Strong analytical and business planning skills are essential.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Proven ability to successfully engage with all customer types, both in-person and virtually/via phone.
• Capable of making meaningful contributions to a dedicated team.
• Exhibits a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
• High self-motivation to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Displays a significant level of flexibility in adapting to a changing business environment.
• Proficient in the MS Office suite and possesses digital literacy.
• Holds a valid driving license.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
