• Foster growth within a designated customer territory by pinpointing upsell opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline, and meeting revenue objectives.
• Establish trusted, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders in Higher Education and residential communities, comprehending their distinct goals and aligning StarRez solutions accordingly.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from proactive prospecting and tailored product demonstrations to proposal submission, contract negotiation, and deal finalization.
• Collaborate across various functions with product, services, and finance teams to define solutions, manage licensing and invoicing, and assist with RFP/RFI submissions.
• Act as the customer advocate internally by providing insights that influence product development, market strategy, and community outreach.
• Keep precise records of customer interactions, deal progress, and forecasts using Salesforce, Groove, Gong, and other relevant sales tools.
• Function as a consultative partner after the sale, ensuring seamless transitions, facilitating adoption, and uncovering continuous opportunities for customer success.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within higher education housing.
• Proficient in using StarRez (or comparable) software to enhance operations.
