This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversees and manages an assigned portfolio of business, which includes RFP activities, client implementations, and addressing escalated service issues.
• Acts as a consultant for clients in collaboration with Benefits Consultants and Client Executives on specific group opportunities.
• Handles the creation and marketing process of RFPs, including organizing all ancillary quotes in spreadsheets.
• Assigns tasks to internal service team members as needed, ensuring follow-up and coordination of outcomes for clients.
• Manages the sold case process for all accounts under management.
• Assists the broker with both online portal and paper submissions for each carrier's implementation, providing updates on status, completion, and next steps.
• Cultivates relationships with brokers through proactive communication.
• Informs and educates brokers about the latest trends, concerns, and changes in the ancillary industry.
• Guides clients in cost reduction while providing competitive benefits options.
• Aids in expanding the portfolio through cross-selling opportunities when applicable.
• Efficiently manages complex accounts and high-level service deliverables.
• Provides leadership within the extended service team and exhibits a strong sense of ownership.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in account management or a consultative position.
• Strong organizational abilities are essential.
• Must be self-driven and disciplined, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Must exhibit leadership qualities and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products is required.
• Familiarity with the quoting process and tools is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience with database applications is a plus.
