This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Take ownership of all designated Commercial accounts and key site-level locations (e.g., regional laboratories for multinational companies).
• Establish new relationships and nurture existing partnerships with accounts.
• Discover and secure new opportunities from self-sourced leads as well as marketing-qualified leads.
• Collaborate with other members of the LGC Standards team as necessary to effectively meet customer requirements.
• Utilize sales tools for managing prospects, current accounts, new opportunities, active pipelines, and pertinent sales forecasts.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of essential LGC products and their applications.
• Achieve and surpass assigned sales goals for LGC Standards.
• Proactively engage with clients to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotations, and drive new sales.
• Enhance the visibility of the LGC Standards brand by organizing and participating in exhibitions, seminars, and other events.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in selling technical products utilized in research laboratories.
• Previous successful experience in key account management involving central procurement is preferred.
• Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as RFQs, contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient with customer relationship management platforms, such as Salesforce and Desk.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is advantageous.
• Excellent commercial awareness and strategic planning skills.
• Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a significant asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory: VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, PR.
