This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with essential internal and external partners.
• Recognizing and securing new opportunities, whether they are self-initiated or sourced from marketing-qualified leads.
• Collaborating with other members of the LGC team, including end-market sales managers and quoting specialists, to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Working alongside strategic account managers to plan and execute customer reviews for relevant sites at designated strategic accounts.
• Utilizing LGC’s sales tools to accurately and promptly manage prospects, existing accounts, new opportunities, the active pipeline, and sales forecasts.
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of key LGC products and their applications.
• Meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets for LGC Standards.
• Actively engaging with customers across various channels (e.g., email, phone calls, in-person visits) to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotations, and generate new sales.
• Keeping CRMs updated with current customer information.
• Enhancing the visibility of the LGC Standards brand by coordinating and participating in exhibitions, seminars, and other events, representing the company during working hours.
• A B.S. in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling technical products utilized in research laboratories is essential.
• Previous success in key account management with central procurement is advantageous.
• Capability to read and interpret documents such as RFQs, contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms, such as Sales Force and Desk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is advantageous.
• Exceptional commercial awareness and planning skills.
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a significant asset.
• Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as necessary.
