This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and expand an assigned portfolio of business while engaging in proactive new account prospecting and acquisition.
• Perform daily outbound phone prospecting as an essential and non-negotiable aspect of the role.
• Consistently and promptly follow up on connections made at conferences, networking activities, referrals, and event leads.
• Regularly attend industry conferences, government procurement events, and networking functions as a key strategy for business development.
• Seek out new sales opportunities within designated territories, markets, and professional networks.
• Develop and implement a territory sales strategy that addresses priority prospects, procurement channels, budget cycles, and decision-makers.
• Act as the primary sales relationship manager for all assigned accounts.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across Assura’s comprehensive service portfolio.
• Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales targets, with a planned objective of $1,000,000 annually.
• Ensure all records in HubSpot are complete and accurate for all accounts, prospects, opportunities, proposals, contracts, and renewals.
• Complete all assigned onboarding and ongoing sales training.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create and enhance sales materials, outreach campaigns, and event collateral.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling technology services, including cybersecurity, managed services, IT services, cloud services, or consulting.
• Proven comfort and consistency with high-volume outbound phone prospecting as a primary sales function.
• Demonstrated capability to establish a pipeline through conferences, networking events, and developing in-person relationships.
• Proven ability to prospect, cultivate relationships with new buyers, qualify opportunities, and secure new business.
• Experience managing an assigned portfolio of business while meeting quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify client needs, budget pathways, and decision-making processes.
• Proficiency in using a CRM to manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and assist in proposal and contract generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in selling to or supporting public sector clients, including state and local governments, K-12, higher education, or airports.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement vehicles, RFPs, cooperative contracts, or government contracting processes.
