This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Revenue Retention & Expansion: You will be responsible for managing the retention, renewals, and expansion targets of Halter’s current revenue in the region. Ensure that farmers are maximizing the value from Halter to meet their objectives and comprehending the impact it has on their agricultural business.
• Account Management: Tasked with renewing customer agreements and increasing the revenue of existing Halter clients by enhancing value in every interaction to drive on-farm objectives and performance.
• Deployment: Assisting with the onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on customer farms, ensuring that all relevant farm owners, managers, and workers can effectively use the system.
• Relationship Building: Actively nurture genuine and trustworthy relationships with farmers, their teams, and families, promoting strong connections and understanding.
• Farmer Success: Collaboratively work with customers to define clear business goals, timelines, priorities, and success metrics.
• Problem-Solving: Deliver timely and effective communication and support to farmers and team members, addressing technical or operational issues with expertise and efficiency.
• Community & Networking: Proudly represent the Halter brand, lead local discussion groups, and proactively establish strong networks within the community to enhance brand visibility and connections.
• Customer Advocate: Serve as the voice of the customer, bridging the gap with our product teams to provide crucial context regarding the realities faced by our farmers and their livestock.
• Technical Expertise: Collaborate closely with our product teams to offer technical and practical guidance from a farmer’s perspective on matters such as reproduction, pasture, and agronomy. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere, supporting others to excel and exemplifying Halter’s Operating Principles.
• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or account management roles. However, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet this criterion! If you’re enthusiastic, driven, and eager to succeed, we would love to hear from you!
• Preferred experience in dairy farming or the agriculture sector, along with a strong passion for assisting farmers in achieving success.
• Solid business acumen.
