This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold schedules for detailed activities aimed at achieving procurement goals within a defined timeframe for clients.

• Execute and follow project protocols from project initiation, assisting in the oversight and evaluation of project scope, proposal assessment, ensuring compliance with contracts, to the notice to proceed and the execution of construction necessary to meet specific objectives for various Job Orders.

• Possess the ability to interpret and comprehend construction plans and specifications, along with substantial expertise in conducting thorough price proposal evaluations and creating as well as reviewing detailed construction line item proposals.

• Capable of training contractors in Gordian software, client procedures, and providing assistance in client contract bidding processes.

• Communicate effectively and clearly with clients and internal team members to guarantee that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting, particularly in both facilities and road construction is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, pricing, and contracting, including scope development and estimating/price proposal preparation.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects in development and in the field concurrently.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, along with robust interpersonal and team-building capabilities. Must exhibit flexibility, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, goal orientation, client focus, and the ability to achieve results while meeting client and corporate deadlines. Effective time management, self-motivation, and capability to work well both independently and within a team dynamic are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, with the ability to create and generate customized tracking documents and reports.

• A background in construction documentation and administration is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with Job Order Contracting or IDIQ is required, along with a thorough understanding of various public procurement and project delivery methods and requirements.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
