This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts across a geographically diverse territory.
• Concentrate call efforts on multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals.
• Collaborate with Sterile Processing Department personnel to determine customer solutions.
• Build and sustain customer relationships while ensuring overall financial performance in the designated territory through consultative and clinical value-based selling.
• Increase market share via customer utilization assessments, expansion of new footprints, and cultivation of customer advocates for ASP technologies.
• Forge connections with hospital clients where surgical procedures are performed or influenced.
• Anticipate client needs and devise innovative solutions to optimize workflows and uncover new revenue opportunities.
• Identify key business drivers, create compelling value propositions, discover decision-makers, and position solutions across various hospital and Integrated Delivery Network customer types.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training presentations, and in-servicing tailored to customer requirements.
• Establish and uphold account call frequencies to enhance customer relationships, comprehend customer needs, and meet sales quotas.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies and plans for local hospitals and IDN accounts.
• Implement local pull-through of strategic initiatives developed by corporate account teams.
• Revise sales action plans and forecasts for Territory Quarterly Reviews and Business Plans.
• Collaborate on business initiatives with internal partners, including Service, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
• Utilize tools, systems, and dashboards daily to manage business operations and address performance-metric challenges.
• Maintain and enhance understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market dynamics.
• Engage in relevant local and regional professional organizations.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, or 2 years of medical sales experience, or 1 year of sales experience combined with 1 year of experience in the infection prevention industry.
• Demonstrated success in launching new products, increasing product utilization, and/or defending business against competitors.
• Experience in prospecting for new business and making cold calls.
• Preferred experience includes selling to hospitals, ASCs, and inpatient/outpatient endoscopy suites.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States is necessary.
• Willingness to travel according to role requirements.
• Must reside in or be prepared to relocate within the designated Columbus, OH area territory.
