This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Generate, qualify, and follow up on leads.
• Conduct sales calls to both new and existing clients.
• Manage Salesforce sales funnel and provide daily updates to clients.
• Regularly follow up on all sales and projects.
• Maintain a sales quota that includes specific metrics for calls, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Develop a sales action plan with a two-month lead time.
• Discuss services offered by the company, such as process automation & controls, electrical engineering, and E&I services.
• Collaborate with department leaders to understand operational needs, existing clients, and projects.
• Build strategic relationships with corporate accounts.
• Work alongside clients to identify and implement strategies that enhance service quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Leverage existing relationships to generate client referrals.
• Attend trade shows and expos within the designated geographic region.
• Actively participate in industry-related social networking groups and organizations.
• Define the scope of work to create proposals.
• Monitor competition, market trends, and product developments.
• Create tailored sales presentations for specific clients.
• Provide management with sales progress reports.
• Master negotiation techniques.
• Refine skills in lead qualification.
• Share our company’s story and culture with both current and prospective clients.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial/electrical sales, preferably in process automation and controls, electrical engineering, and field services.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate productive business relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Consistent work history.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.
• Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean and safe driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to adhere to customer site access and entry requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Capability to work in inclement and extreme weather conditions.
• Required to wear PPE/Safety gear at designated times.
• Ability to wear an N-95 mask when necessary.
