This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Take ownership of the commercial relationship with our clients, focusing on the Flanders region of Belgium.
• Execute the retention and growth strategy, which includes careful planning and oversight.
• Manage the sales budget for your client portfolio, demonstrating ambition and dedication to achieving double-digit growth rates.
• Establish and maintain consistent personal connections with key stakeholders at our clients (purchasing, production, quality, safety, cleaning, and hygiene operations, etc.).
• Contribute to various divisional and cross-functional initiatives (pricing, marketing, sales promotions, events, seminars, product launches…).
• Document sales activities in accordance with CRM guidelines and monitor sales metrics.
• Coordinate sales and demand forecasts.
• Provide technical support by addressing various technical inquiries related to our products and solutions.
• For more complex questions, collaborate with support functions and in-house experts.
• Visit client production sites to create value, train stakeholders, and identify new opportunities.
• Offer commercial guidance such as following up on pricing, orders, and collaborating with our customer service team.
• A degree in business or sales is essential, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a business-related setting.
• An optimistic and action-oriented individual who enjoys pursuing new opportunities.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively coordinate actions with both clients and internal support teams.
• Understanding of the distributor-driven business model and strategies for growing distribution channels.
• Proficiency in Dutch is required; fluency in French and English is a significant advantage!
• Familiarity with the market is a valuable asset.
• An engineering background is a plus.
• Willingness to travel from home and a flexible mindset to collaborate with Food & Beverage clients.
• Ideally located within driving distance of Ieper, Belgium.
