This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Drive revenue growth by overseeing current accounts and identifying new business prospects in both public and private histopathology laboratories.
• Market and sell the complete Leica Biosystems product range, which includes instruments, consumables, and digital solutions, in line with the territory strategy.
• Oversee intricate sales processes, which involve public tenders, pricing discussions, and key account strategy planning.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with essential stakeholders such as pathologists, lab managers, and procurement teams.
• Work closely with internal departments (Applications, Service, Marketing) to guarantee an exceptional customer experience and effective solution implementation.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree in a life science field (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology) is preferred.
• Several years of experience in a commercial capacity, ideally within the medical device, diagnostics, or life science sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory successfully while meeting revenue and growth objectives.
• Proficient in English at a business level.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory, including occasional overnight trips.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving history.
• Previous sales experience in anatomical pathology or histopathology settings is advantageous.
• Experience in handling public tenders and engaging with hospital procurement processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce (SFDC), is an added advantage.
