• This role primarily functions as the key liaison between the client and CTM, with the potential to oversee Account Representatives.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with Clients via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions and meetings.
• Forge robust partnerships with various levels within the Clients’ organization, including senior and executive management.
• Generate, analyze, and present quarterly reviews that include recommendations for expense reduction and monitoring.
• Accountable for creating a business plan that encompasses KPIs and tracking outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive travel management reporting analysis, including forecasting, trending, benchmarking, and recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of the travel program.
• Ensure management and cost accountability for the Client.
• Prepare and present various industry presentations, including those for senior management.
• Communicate the client’s objectives, challenges, and concerns to CTM.
• Support the client in achieving their goals and swiftly address any issues that arise.
• Serve as a travel management consultant on behalf of the client and staff, actively engaging in vendor relationships.
• Handle escalated issues to guarantee timely resolutions.
• Participate in industry seminars and webinars to enhance knowledge of the sector.
• Responsible for maintaining client retention with existing accounts, including RFIs, RFPs, and final presentations.
• Ensure seamless integration with all relevant company operations.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in an account management role for corporate clients is strongly preferred.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job successfully.
• Capable of reading and interpreting documents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Able to apply common sense to carry out instructions presented in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employees and collaborate with industry suppliers to maximize savings and negotiations for clients is strongly preferred.
• Must possess the capability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients and Travel and Transport associates, including sales, operations, and Account Management.
• Must effectively interpret and utilize multiple information sources to develop tactical plans and options tailored to customer and employee needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
