This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Must be located within Ontario.
• Stay updated on industry trends and identify potential leads.
• Conduct sales presentations, on-site demonstrations, and engage in cold calling within your designated territory.
• Sustain the existing customer base through consistent communication, monitoring, and development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to key accounts.
• Achieve all sales performance targets and indicators.
• Engage in trade shows, training events, or other related activities as needed.
• Provide activity and pipeline reports to the Sales Manager.
• Essential to have experience as a surveyor or in the Survey and/or Engineering (AEC) sector.
• A motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine passion for sales in a competitive environment.
• Proven experience in recommending, presenting, and selling various products tailored to customer needs.
• Initiative, self-motivation, adaptability, drive, and excellent communication and computer skills are crucial.
• Willingness to dedicate 40-60% of time traveling (locally and occasionally overnight) to service and visit customers.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Valid driving license in good standing.
• Bonus: Post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant field (Construction/Survey/Civil Engineering and Geomatics) or equivalent, or a combination of experience and training.
• Some background in an outside sales role, preferably in the AEC industries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
