This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Propel growth by marketing AVEVA’s range of products and services to both new and expanding customers.
• Identify and reach out to customers who have not yet utilized AVEVA solutions, securing new partnerships and enhancing market visibility.
• Cultivate and maintain existing customer relationships to foster upsell and cross-sell opportunities, thereby increasing annual recurring revenue (ARR).
• Create and implement account plans, from prospecting and qualifying leads to successfully closing deals.
• Meet revenue objectives and ensure accurate sales projections are maintained.
• Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional resources to achieve account management and sales targets.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive products to effectively position AVEVA solutions.
• Stay updated on AVEVA's product offerings and sales strategies through continuous training.
• Conduct sales presentations that address business needs while demonstrating the value and unique features of AVEVA technology.
• Proactively resolve customer issues in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage the sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
• Provide precise sales reporting and forecasts.
• Travel frequently within the region, with occasional international trips.
• Proven success in direct sales, including building relationships at all levels within client organizations.
• Experience in selling SaaS or DaaS (Data as a Service) solutions.
• Strong background in business development with a focus on acquiring new customers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in closing complex software and product contracts, managing the entire sales process.
• Preferred experience in industrial software, engineering software, or automation.
• Knowledge of IT applications within the process and automation industries is preferred, but not essential.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Regular regional travel is required, with occasional international travel.
• Successful candidates must complete a drug screening and comprehensive background check prior to employment.
• Proof of work authorization may be part of the background check.
