This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborates with the Account Executive to create intricate account plans and strategies aimed at optimizing customer relationships, minimizing risks, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Conducts regular business reviews with clients to pinpoint areas for enhancement and provides recommendations to improve account performance.
• Works alongside internal stakeholders, including operations, marketing, and product teams, to synchronize account strategies, provide value-added solutions, and enrich customer experience.
• Implements proactive account management and customer support, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
• Identifies and evaluates risks associated with client accounts, formulating mitigation strategies and action plans to proactively tackle challenges and secure long-term success.
• Establishes and initiates programs and innovative projects to promote Account Management initiatives within the organization.
• Anticipates changes in the Account Management sector, conducts assessments of business impacts, and formulates modification strategies utilizing process improvement methodologies.
• Advises clients on navigating regulatory issues and healthcare trends that may influence their benefit program strategies.
• Mentors junior colleagues on techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Over 5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales Support, or Implementation.
• Possession of a Health Insurance license (Life and Health Insurance Producer-IL or resident state) or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, TEAMS, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel nationally 10-15% of the time.
• Skilled in execution and delivery, including planning, delivering, and providing support.
• Knowledgeable in business intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Possesses a growth mindset, demonstrating agility and the ability to develop oneself and others.
