This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and retain a designated portfolio of clients.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with clients.
• With limited guidance from the Account Director and scientific team, maintain an understanding of market trends and client strategies.
• Exhibit strong financial insights, capable of developing and managing client Statements of Work (SOWs) and budgets with minimal assistance from the Account Director.
• Responsible for the upkeep of all client financial reporting.
• Accountable for accurate and timely forecasting of project revenue to internal stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality projects in alignment with timelines, budgets, and client strategic needs, with minimal supervision from the Account Director.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Address client inquiries and concerns, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and through a solutions-oriented approach.
• Possess strong communication abilities with customers, partners, colleagues, and stakeholders during project execution to resolve issues and enhance relationships.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of Decera's core competencies and deliverables, able to convey value to clients while identifying opportunities for expanded support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide high-quality programs and services.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in science, communications, and/or business.
• Prior account management experience, preferably within a medical communications agency (generally, 4+ years of experience).
• Experience overseeing publication deliverables, such as manuscripts, abstracts, and posters, is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with project management systems (SmartSheet, mission control) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful with the ability to creatively solve problems.
• Proven record of completing projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Exhibits strong presentation skills and the ability to write concise reports.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrates professional and effective communication with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in business development and proposal writing is preferred.
