This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and uphold relationships with brokers and sellers to facilitate the sale of wholesale and correspondent mortgage loan products.
• Identify, reach out to, and secure approval for new mortgage brokers and sellers.
• Build and maintain broker/seller relationships to ensure a continuous flow of loan applications and purchases.
• Provide guidance to brokers/sellers regarding company programs, pricing, submission policies, procedures, and any changes in policies.
• Support brokers/sellers throughout the loan submission process.
• Train brokers/sellers on online submission systems, automated underwriting, rate sheets, and loan locking procedures.
• Collaborate with external brokers and internal teams, including broker coordination, processing, underwriting, and closing, to guarantee timely loan closings.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines for pre-disclosures, approval letters, and denial notices.
• Maintain and regularly update CRM contacts.
• Safeguard customer confidential information in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with sellers and internal teams in correspondent, relationship management, underwriting, and funding to ensure timely loan purchases.
• Manage the loan pipeline to meet departmental objectives and goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers/sellers throughout the loan process.
• Proven sales performance in developing and maintaining broker/seller relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve sales targets.
• Understanding of state and federal lending regulations.
• Familiarity with FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA, and non-agency loan products.
• Knowledge of purchase transactions.
• Understanding of Carrington’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and organizational structure.
• Awareness of Carrington’s underwriting guidelines and investor requirements.
• Ability to quickly learn and retain information about Carrington, its sales processes, products, and the specialty lending industry.
• Capacity to comprehend complex issues and work collaboratively to explore alternative solutions.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–5 years of experience as a wholesale and/or correspondent account executive with various brokers, investors, and loan products is preferred.
• Previous experience selling agency and non-agency loan products is preferred.
• Prior experience as a sales representative is required, ideally within the mortgage industry.
