This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +6 more states.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies at the agent level for AjiPro-L and animal feed amino acids throughout North America and international markets, including Brazil and China.
• Assess customer requirements and identify growth potentials by qualifying and quantifying target accounts by product category.
• Propel sales growth for AjiPro-L and animal feed amino acids through direct engagement with customers and effective distributor management.
• Set and meet sales volume budget targets, implementing corrective measures when discrepancies arise.
• Assist in the creation and preparation of budgets by developing and executing both short- and long-term plans in collaboration with teams in the US and Japan.
• Provide necessary verbal and written communication to Sales Agents and Customers to maintain relationships and facilitate timely communication regarding pricing actions.
• Comprehend, analyze, and manage information sources to support sales strategies, pricing decisions, and product marketing efforts.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, agents, and distributors to foster and enhance long-term business development.
• Collaborate with the Technical Department to ensure alignment of nutritional modifications that may affect sales dynamics, along with market trends that will bolster sales growth, linking technical applications to commercial strategies that advance company initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition, animal science, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated B2B sales experience in animal nutrition, feed additives, or technical sales/support (Swine, Poultry, Dairy).
• In-depth knowledge of ruminant nutrition (dairy/beef preferred).
• Preferred experience collaborating with nutritionists and feed mills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record in negotiating and fulfilling client requirements.
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Proficient in understanding and using CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
• Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations in a professional context.
• Ability to solve problems and work collaboratively across functions to effectively serve our customers.
• Preferred knowledge of lysine or amino acid products.
• Familiarity with feed formulation and farm economics is preferred.
