This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of and oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, with an emphasis on increasing revenue from new enterprise clients.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans aimed at penetrating large, complex enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and technical stakeholders to identify their requirements and effectively position Temporal across diverse use cases.
• Navigate intricate technical discussions to align Temporal’s capabilities with customer priorities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey.
• Work in conjunction with customer success, solutions architecture, and product teams to guarantee a smooth customer experience.
• Utilize your enterprise sales expertise to recognize and seize high-value opportunities within large, multifaceted organizations, driving new customer acquisition.
• Innovate and modify sales strategies to cater to the evolving needs of enterprise businesses in a fast-paced market.
• Proven experience in enterprise software sales, typically acquired through over 7 years in similar positions.
• A successful history of selling to software engineers, technical decision-makers, and engineering leaders.
• Ability to navigate complex technical discussions and collaboratively align Temporal’s offerings with customer needs.
• Demonstrated success in navigating and closing deals within large, matrixed enterprise organizations.
• Experience in driving high-growth sales initiatives within enterprise accounts, identifying opportunities, and increasing revenue.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive approach and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent relationship management skills, capable of influencing and building trust at various levels of an organization.
• Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge developer tools or infrastructure products.
• Experience with open-source software (OSS) and monetizing OSS.
• Knowledge of consumption-based sales models and promoting the adoption of technical products.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to present to both technical and executive audiences.
• A strong passion for technology and a keen interest in addressing complex customer challenges.
• Proficiency in the German language is essential for success in this role.
