• Manages client services for an expanding portfolio of clients with intricate risk profiles.
• Cultivates, enhances, and strengthens relationships with current clients while directing the necessary resources to meet their risk management requirements.
• Evaluates commercial lines accounts and makes informed decisions based on unique risk characteristics, exposure assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.
• Identifies client coverage gaps and collaborates with them to guarantee comprehensive protection.
• Exhibits technical expertise and develops innovative solutions.
• Retains existing business and promotes the sale of enhanced services and capabilities.
• Creates and assesses program and coverage alternatives across various lines of business.
• Delivers new business or renewal proposals to clients, collaborating with team members as necessary.
• Prepares and negotiates fees, ensuring account profitability through a value-driven approach concerning the scope of service and associated costs with the client service agreement.
• Collects new business or renewal information to finalize applications and related documentation for submission to relevant insurance markets.
• Compiles account summaries as required.
• Coordinates loss analysis and loss control activities alongside claims and loss control specialists.
• Keeps producers fully updated on all significant activities related to their accounts.
• Manages stewardship/service agreements to ensure services are delivered and deadlines are adhered to.
• Complies with applicable laws, regulations, Relation’s compliance practices, and external compliance standards.
• Reviews cancellation requests and assesses reasons for cancellations, attempting to retain accounts when appropriate while safeguarding the agency’s financial interests.
• Maintains and updates electronic records.
• Remains informed about industry trends, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology to continually enhance knowledge, performance, and client services.
• Fully embraces innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, in the service process to provide an exceptional client service experience.
• Suggests process enhancements as necessary.
• Undertakes additional projects, duties, and tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance sector, focusing on Commercial Lines.
• A Property and Casualty License from the state of domicile is necessary and must be upheld.
• CPCU and/or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations are advantageous.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, the capability to travel to client locations, and a dependable means of transportation.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of all facets of commercial lines coverage.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management and loss control principles.
• Strong understanding of insurance markets, products, services, ratings, and underwriting processes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with outstanding PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and virtual meetings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for maintaining effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, vendors, and others.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to uphold all confidentiality principles.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as required.
